Damn I’m slack haha. Almost forgot I had a blog. Anyway, quite a few things have changed since my last post.
I have since received a call from the Priceline Pharmacy in Lalor Plaza (mentioned briefly in the previous post) telling me they no longer need me to go in for a trial shift, as they’ve found somebody more suitable already… Haha… At the time, I was pretty disappointed, as I was banking on getting the job.
Turns out things turned out for the better. I resumed my applications, and within a week’s time, I got another phone call from another pharmacy looking for a full-time pharmacist position. Although I had no experience working as a pharmacist in Australia, they were willing to give me a go, and scheduled me in for 3 days trial work. Been working there for a little over a month and a half now, and have also gotten a contract, so it all worked out 
We’ve also moved out of the Bell City serviced apartment we were at and into a much more affordable fully furnished townhouse in Bundoora. We even managed to get two second hand cars since the last blog post too. I a 2000 Mercedes-Benz E320 Estate (W210), and Jenny a 2002 Volkswagen Golf 2.0 S (Mk4). We got both at very reasonable prices, and both were in very good condition. Might slap some photos of “Black Mamba” some time soon
